Terms and Conditions – SC SEEDS OF KENOSIS DESIGN SRL
1. General information
This website is run by SC SEEDS OF KENOSIS DESIGN SRL, registered in Romania, tax ID (CUI): 40006371, Trade Register no.: J2018003556352.
Accessing, visiting and using this website implies automatic acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below. We reserve the right to update this document without prior notice. We recommend checking this page regularly.
2. Made-to-order products
All products shown and sold on this website are made exclusively to order, according to the options chosen by the customer: sizes, materials, colours, finishes, design, etc. We have no prefabricated products or standard stock.
3. Right of withdrawal (returns)
Under Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 (which transposes EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights), consumers who are private individuals have the right to return products bought online within 14 calendar days of receiving them.
Exception: this right does not apply to personalised products, under Art. 16(c) of Ordinance 34/2014 (Art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU):
“The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.”
Therefore, our products cannot be returned except in cases of non-conformity or a manufacturing defect.
4. Product warranty
Extended commercial warranty
All Massif products come with a 30-year commercial warranty, covering manufacturing defects that arise under normal conditions of use.
What the warranty covers
Structural or joint defects
Deformation or stability problems caused by flaws in the material or the production process
Problems arising from normal residential use
What the warranty does NOT cover
Damage caused by incorrect use or improper handling
Incorrect assembly
Excessive humidity, exposure to direct heat or contact with liquids
Modifications made to the product
Normal wear of the upholstery
How to claim under the warranty
To benefit from the warranty, the customer must contact us at contact@massifbeds.com within 48 hours of noticing the problem and provide proof of purchase. We will assess the situation and propose one of the following solutions:
Repair of the product
Replacement of the defective components
Full replacement of the product (where justified)
5. Delivery and lead times
All our products are made to order, and the estimated delivery time varies depending on the period and the volume of orders. The exact lead time is shown transparently when you place your order on the website.
We offer special discounts to customers who choose an extended lead time of up to 140 working days.
If, for objective reasons related to the production process, we cannot meet the lead time initially communicated, the customer will automatically receive an additional discount equivalent to the one offered for an extended lead time — applied retroactively.
The customer will be informed before the order is dispatched.
On receiving the product, the customer must check the integrity of the package and the product. Any problem that occurred during transport must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
6. Payment methods
We accept the following payment methods:
Bank transfer
Online card payment (through our partner processor)
Other methods mentioned on the website, depending on availability
The order is processed only after payment has been confirmed. The tax invoice is issued electronically.
7. Chests of drawers, wardrobes and shelving – wall-fixing recommendation
Because of the weight of solid wood, and for the safety of users (especially in homes with children), we recommend anchoring tall or potentially unstable furniture to the wall – such as chests of drawers, wardrobes and shelving units.
This prevents accidental tipping and is the safest way to use this type of furniture.
Responsibility for installation and wall-fixing lies with the customer. On request, we can provide recommendations or compatible fixing systems.
8. Limitation of liability
SC SEEDS OF KENOSIS DESIGN SRL cannot be held liable for:
Improper use of the products
Typographical errors or omissions in the website content
Inaccuracies caused by updates or changes to the products
Indirect damage resulting from the use of the products or the website
Failure to properly fix to the wall furniture that presents a risk of tipping (such as chests of drawers, shelving units or wardrobes). As these products are made of solid wood, it is recommended that they be securely anchored to the wall, in accordance with the assembly instructions, for greater safety.
The website is provided “as is”, and users take full responsibility for how they access or use the information.
9. Copyright
All materials on the website (text, images, graphics, video content, etc.) are the property of SC SEEDS OF KENOSIS DESIGN SRL and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without the company’s written consent.
9. Personal data protection
We comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the national legislation in force.
The personal data collected (name, email, phone, delivery addresses, etc.) is used only to process orders, communicate with you and deliver products.
We do not pass your data to third parties unless strictly necessary (e.g. couriers, accountants, payment processors).
