Solid Wood Floating Bed - Temptation with Upholstered Headboard
The “Temptation” bed is a solid wood floating bed — it gives the impression of floating. It’s made of solid wood, available in ash, oak and mahogany, each offering the same strength and quality and differing only in looks. You can have it painted in any RAL colour, so you can personalise it to your taste. Any size is available for this floating bed, both the standard ones (90×200, 120×200, 140×200, 160×200, 180×200, 200×200) and any custom size, so it fits your needs perfectly.
All options offer comparable strength; the difference is purely aesthetic.

Standard side rails are 12 cm. The 15 cm option doesn’t affect strength — only the look and how far the mattress sits into the bed.

Purely a design choice: how the upholstered headboard is divided. It can be continuous, split into sections, or made of small vertical panels. It doesn’t affect the price.
Drag the two dimensions. The under-bed clearance raises the whole frame; the headboard grows separately, but never below the level of the mattress.
The distance from the floor to the frame. If you’re taller than 180 cm, we recommend a total sitting height of about 55 cm to protect your knees. The standard calculation includes a 20 cm mattress; if yours is different, adjust the under-bed clearance to compensate.
Sets the total height of the headboard. A taller headboard gives better back support when you sit up in bed, and a more striking look.
Is it really 100% solid wood?+
Yes. Every structural part is solid ash, oak or mahogany. The only exceptions are drawer bottoms and the back panels of chests of drawers, which use MDF because they have no structural role there.
What can I customise?+
Any RAL colour (more than 2,000 options), any size that fits your mattress, the under-bed clearance, the sitting height, storage drawers and bedside tables. For unusual requests, get in touch — almost anything is possible.
How strong is it?+
We tested a frame under a static load of 1,400 kg — roughly the weight of a small car. No measurable deformation. Most bed frames give way at 200 kg.
Why a 30-year warranty?+
It started as a lifetime warranty, but that was too hard to believe. We settled on 30 years. We’re confident they’ll last well beyond that.
How long does delivery take?+
The standard lead time is 40–50 working days. Longer lead times come with a discount: 10% for 80–90 working days, 15% for 140–150.
Is storage available?+
Yes, for every design. The drawers are 35–90 cm wide, 120 cm long and 15 cm deep. They run on silicone wheels and stay discreet.
